What We Do
MILAMORE was founded in 2019 by George Inaki Root, the CEO and Creative Director, whose multicultural background and passion for Japanese culture inspire his designs. Root's philosophy, rooted in the concepts of wabi-sabi and yin-yang, emphasizes the beauty in imperfection and encourages the wearer to be deeply connected with themselves and their surroundings through the pieces. Root's designs feature a balance of bold and edgy elements with sophistication to create androgynous, colorful pieces that celebrate individuality and are meant to be "conversational jewelry," sparking up a conversation rooted in a deeper meaning. Our pieces are handcrafted by skilled artisans in Tokyo and Yamanashi and are imbued with a sense of history and artistry, made with the utmost attention to detail.
